Steel From Battery Park City Makes Its Way to Jersey

Fair Lawn council members and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno had requested a piece of steel from the Twin Towers wreckage in 2001. Following a court approval Fair Lawn was given a piece of steel which the have made into a memorial. Fair Lawn emergency personnel were some of the first to arrive at the Twin Towers site, after the Battery Park and Lower Manhattan units. You can read the full story here.
